The UCLA Broad Stem Cell Research Center supports several shared resources and facilities that provide UCLA researchers with access to state-of-the-art microscopes, DNA sequencers and other cutting-edge scientific instruments.

Together, our cores serve more than 700 users from more than 200 labs across 40 UCLA departments.

Overseen by highly trained technical staff, these cores serve as research hubs that expand our investigators’ capabilities, foster collaboration and accelerate the translation of promising scientific findings into treatments and cures. We believe that providing our faculty with the most advanced technology will expedite the development of genetic and cellular based therapies.
