Forging a New Future for Human Health

Science built upon innovation, collaboration and the highest ethical standards

FOSTERING CONNECTIONS

We bring together a community of trailblazing researchers who collaborate across disciplines to understand and address complex biomedical challenges.

SHAPING LEADERS

We invest in early-career scientists to cultivate the next generation of compassionate healthcare providers and leaders in the fields of regenerative medicine and stem cell science.

ACCELERATING DISCOVERIES

Our scientists leverage stem cells to uncover foundational insights that deepen understanding of human health and disease.

BRIDGING GAPS TO THE CLINIC

Our center provides the infrastructure and resources that empower researchers to make life-saving discoveries and bring them to patients.

Expanding our capacity to develop and deliver cell and gene therapies

UCLA has opened the Center for Advanced Biotherapies, a 14,000-square-foot FDA-compliant manufacturing facility that nearly doubles our capacity to produce cell and gene therapies for patients enrolled in clinical trials. The facility is equipped to manufacture a broad range of personalized treatments, from cancer vaccines to stem cell gene therapies.
