The Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research at UCLA is marking a historic milestone this year — two decades of discovery, innovation and impact.

To kick off the celebration, we’re excited to announce the release of our 20th Anniversary Impact Report, From Possibility to Reality: 20 Years of Stem Cell Research at UCLA

The report highlights groundbreaking research and transformative collaborations that have advanced regenerative medicine and brought life-changing treatments to patients.

Dive into the report, which features:

  • An interactive timeline highlighting key center successes and milestones
  • A look at our impact by the numbers
  • Stories of center scientists collaborating across disciplines to develop much-needed therapies for deadly conditions
  • Insights into how our training and outreach programs are fostering the next generation of scientific leaders
  • Profiles of patients whose lives have been transformed by regenerative medicine therapies

“The vision for the center was to create a hub where collaboration and innovation would drive breakthroughs in human health,” said center director Dr. Thomas Rando. “Today, that vision continues to inspire as we advance stem cell research to deliver real-world solutions that improve lives and redefine the future of medicine.”
